Description
We are seeking a skilled and efficient Line Cook to join our culinary team.As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to a high standard, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and contributing to the overall success of our kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items
- Follow recipes and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and quality
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed
- Maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen environment
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the Chef
Requirements:
- 12 years of experience in a professional kitchen
- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fastpaced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Food safety certification (optional)
Working Conditions:
- Work in a fastpaced, dynamic kitchen environment
- Frequent exposure to heat, steam, and moisture
- Occasional exposure to loud noises and hazardous materials
- Must be able to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Pay:
$17.00-$20.81 per hour
