Willowdale School of Music is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and music-loving camp leader to head up our March Break and Summer Day camp program.

• Planning and preparing both musical and nonmusical activities, crafts, games, musical time and outdoor activities for each week
• Organizing camp supplies
• Directly communicate with the School Director regarding planned activities and necessary supplies
• Playing and interacting with campers
• Participate in the camp program and activities while delivering program to campers
• Monitor campers indoors and outdoors and enforce camp rules and safety
• Supervise snack and lunch times, indoor and outdoor play and activities
• Working with the Camp Staff & Volunteers to ensure the smooth running of the camp and safety of the campers
• Lead daily screening and following all health & COVID19 protocols
• Lead daily set up, sanitizing and clean up of daily program

• Contract runs March Break (March 1115), Camp Week 1 (July 25), Camp Week 1 (July 812) and Camp Week 3 (July 1519), 202
• Pay is $672/4 day week and $840/5 day week
• Additional aftercare hours (3:00 5:00 PM) at $24/hour may be available
• Be experienced working with children ages 410
• Have a Bachelors of Music in their main instrument or be currently enrolled in a musiccentred diploma or degree program
• Be 18 years of age or older
• Be available 8:30 5:00 PM daily on the weeks camp runs
• Be fully vaccinated for COVID19 by the first day of camp
• Be able to participate in activities such as running, jumping, throwing, etc

• Monday to Friday

• Overtime pay

• Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

• Teaching: 2 years (preferred)
