    Your future role on our team:

    Our Concord office is growing and looking to add an additional member to their Civil & Structural team In joining our dynamic team, your role will be to work with members of multidisciplinary teams (engineers, technicians, and others) on one or more projects. Your consulting engineering tasks will include carrying out studies, design, detailed engineering, and site support.


    Job Overview:

    • Help prepare engineering documents to design works for projects in the following sectors: industrial, mining and metals, energy, oil and gas, environment and sustainable development, etc.
    • Design steel and concrete structures as well as building and equipment foundations.
    • Coordinate design activities with other disciplines (mechanical, electrical, etc.).
    • Prepare estimates, technical specifications and reports.
    • Participate in quality control of the work carried out by technicians.
    • Help prepare estimates, schedules and budgets, where required.
    • Help plan, organize and evaluate work.
    • Participate in supervising/inspecting site work, where required.
    • Carry out other technical duties to assist with projects.
    • Cultivate and maintain friendly, close relations with clients or their representatives.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or any equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
    • Member of the PEO with PEng designation or eligible to apply for PEng soon.
    • 5 to 7 years of experience designing steel or concrete structures
    • Advanced knowledge of structural analysis software (e.g., Sap 2000, ETABS, Safe)
    • Experience with heavy industrial and/or substation structural design
    • Familiarity with drafting software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
    • Ability to read drawings
    • Knowledge of work site supervision
    • Willingness to participate in business development activities
    • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office
    • Available for frequent travel to client sites
    • Valid G drivers license
    • Asset: experience with dynamic analysis
    • Asset: experience with finite element analysis
    • Asset: knowledge of work site supervision and inspection
