Position Summary
This position is responsible for handling materials in the stone shop. There is a great opportunity for advancement and growth in various directions inside the company.

Please note that at the moment we consider only applicants who are currently in Burnaby, BC.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Receive and unload deliveries
Inspect product for any deficiencies or damages
Take pictures and label product
Safely move product to the storage point
Enter and remove product from inventory (at computer terminal)
Count inventory (monthly)
Work with overhead cranes
Operate forklift
Maintain forklift in order, advise supervisor of repairs required
Maintain an organize work environment
Work in a safe manner that complies with all safety guidelines
Contribute to team effort and completes other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year experience in the warehouse environment
Experience operating forklift
Experience in the stone industry an asset
Outstanding attendance and punctuality
Basic computer skills (MS Office)
Good communication skills
Willingness to learn from more experienced staff members
Willingness to be trained in other departments
Ability to lift 100 lbs. +
