The North America Food Away From home team is looking for an Associate Strategic Business Manager to join the team; this role is based out of Mississauga, ON.

The Associate Strategic Business Manager leads Food Away from Home sales enablement initiatives to deliver McCormick growth goals across North America.

This role will serve as the primary business liaison and counterpart for our National Accounts and Custom Restaurant sales teams and internal functions, such as marketing, finance, supply chain and more.

The position should be able to execute with excellence, develop strong cross-functional partnerships and communication, and think critically to continuously optimize our sales and internal processes.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Translate brand, category and market trends into actionable business observations and recommendations for sales teams.
Provide analytical support to the business, driving annual business plans, customer opportunities and MAPS strategies.
Support National Accounts & Custom Restaurant sales pipeline through project engagement and Salesforce oversight.
Manage inbound communication and requests from sales field; identify and communication solutions & processes. Develop new processes to enable sales as needed


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Sales, Marketing, Finance or related field
Minimum 3 years related experience in a sales focused environment
General understanding of business reporting & analytics with strong understanding of foodservice industry dynamics
Experience in building fact based, analytical presentations or direct selling experience to customers.
Must have proven skills to adapt to and communicate with a wide variety of personalities and business settings.
Ability to lead frequent interactions with cross-functional partners, sales leadership, and field sales teams.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - critical to success in role
Proficient written and verbal communication

Excellent Computer Skills - To include Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Power point), Sales Technology (Salesforce), and Sales Data (SAP, EDW).

Independent, goal-oriented self-starter capable of contributing to strategies and driving programs.
Proven leadership, report preparation, planning and project management skills.
Proven problem solver, with appropriate attention to detail. Ability to listen, be resourceful and interpret information from a variety of sources. Excellent organizational and analytical skills.

Must have proven skills to adapt to and communicate with a wide variety of personalities and business settings as the role involves frequent interactions with cross-functional partners, sales leadership, and field sales teams.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Category Management experience preferred
Foodservice business industry experience a plus
