JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to:
Director, Product Management


The Business Analyst supports the product management team in performing intermediate level data research and analysis to support business operations that accelerate Medline brand growth and present findings to manager, key stakeholders, and business leads.


CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in developing and validating business cases intended for Sales leadership
  • Analyze Ongoing Growth Trend and ROI
  • Conduct continuous research, analysis, and reporting of future pipeline opportunities and risks
  • Identify, analyze, and provide recommendations to key stakeholders relating to business profitability management
  • Develop and analyze scorecards, providing insight into trends or unusual performance relating to customer programs
  • Work with FP&A team to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and nimble decision making related to driving Medline brand growth opportunities. Dotted line to FP&A business lead
  • Complete adhoc projects, reporting, and analysis as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field
  • 23 years of progressive experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience with financial analysis in a sales environment
  • Solid understanding of Financial accounting and business acumen in sales environment


  • Intermediate Excel skills

  • VLOOKUPs, Pivot tables, Nested functions a must
  • Excellent organizational, planning, communication, and followup skills
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and problemsolving skills
  • Action and results oriented demeanor
  • Ability and comfort in creating, developing, and doing new things
