About the role:


We're searching for a passionate, creative, go-getter community manager with proven content writing skills who's looking to make a splash in the life sciences industry.

You'll be joining our fast-paced, agile marketing team to support our social, community, and content initiatives.

You'll be responsible for growing, strengthening, and tracking our community across social media platforms, as well as contributing to the writing of content to be shared on social, our blog, and elsewhere.


Social and community managers with backgrounds in social media marketing, content writing, content creation, and search engine optimization will be best suited for this role.

As part of the content team, you'll be working with other writers and content aficionados, while also coordinating with other team members—paid, product, and more—in order to support company growth objectives.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Interacting with our community and serving as a point of contact for our social media platforms and other channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, blog, and more)
  • Becoming a consistent voice in our community by reaching out to/replying to members across platforms in a professional, fun, and timely manner
  • Growing and nurturing our community through various initiatives in tandem with content creation
  • Managing the social calendar and identifying ideas for new campaigns to engage our audience
  • Tracking social and community metrics with social listening tools for the purposes of oversight and optimization, with the expectation of regular reports
  • Establishing connections with influencers in the life sciences industry
  • Contributing to content writing in the form of fulllength blog articles, downloadable content pieces, newsletters, content written specifically for social media platforms, and more
  • Assisting the content team in SEO research and onpage optimizations for content
  • Keeping finger on the pulse of trends in the life sciences that will be broadly relevant to our community

You'll be joining a team of high-energy passionate marketers who work with an agile approach and always like to muck in with each other, even though we all have our specializations.

We're crafting a culture of autonomy and accountability, with a focus on team health, wealth, and happiness.

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field—or equivalent experience
  • 12 years of B2B social media marketing and content writing
  • Experience with social media and community management, including managing calendars, executing campaigns, and metrics reporting
  • Experience with content creation and blog article writing (writing portfolios welcome), editorial experience is a bonus
  • Experience with writing for search engines and SEO best practices
  • Knowledge of marketing tools such as HubSpot, SEMRush, Frase, etc.
  • Experience with HubSpot is a big plus
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills (English is essential)
