Accountable for the relationship management for a portfolio of Engineering & Platforms technology suppliers, and is the focal point for all planning, reporting, execution/delivery and governance for that portfolio. In particular, she/he oversees the creation, alignment and ongoing management of engagement activities and ongoing day-to-day maintenance and support as well as supporting risk and compliance management.

Specifically, this role holds accountabilities throughout various stages of the supplier lifecycle including but not limited to strategy, selection, deal structure, implementation, governance, and renewal/termination. The role will also collaborate with multiple internal department stakeholders to ensure the effective management of these suppliers.

This role provides input and support in 3 major areas

:


_ Relationship Management_ - collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders in the delivery of governance activities, through effective partnership.**:

_ Risk & Control_ - understand bank's supplier management corporate standards, policies, and procedures, and ensures compliance through effective monitoring and control.**:

_ Change Management_ - enables and facilitates change through ongoing and clear communication of expectations.**:

Accountabilities

:

Works with relevant supplier stakeholders in coordinating/gathering/validating
and consolidating ad hoc, regular reports and information.

:

-
Monitors supplier management activities including, performance management, risk, issue resolution, and success management.

:

-
Prepares reports and completing analysis relevant to support discussion and decision making.

:

-
Scrutinizes supplier service agreements and related documents (for e.g., performance reports, risk and compliance reports, financial spend reports, amongst others) to make recommendations and provide feedback.

Supports the Request for Information (RFI) or Request for Proposal (RFP) with supplier if required

:

Understands the bank's compliance requirements and implement actions to ensure adherence, as required, including support on Audit activities as needed.

Collaborates with internal and external governance groups to ensure internal processes support the bank's supplier governance policies and standards.

:

Identifies emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making

Presents and communicates at all levels within Technology & Operations and across businesses / groups.

Collaborates in root-cause analysis to determine underlying causes and participates in problem resolution.

Builds exceptional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Liaises with the business and the technology development and support groups.

Develops a deep understanding of organizational complexity to build strong rapport with internal stakeholders

Stays abreast of industry technical and business trends through benchmarking and/or participation in professional associations.

Qualifications

:

Typically 5+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

:

Knowledge of software development practice, concepts/methodologies
(i.e., waterfall, Agile, iterative), and _technologies_
obtained through formal training and/or work experience.

:

Understanding of industry standards and standard business capabilities.

:

Knowledge of business analysis, project delivery practices and standards across the project lifecycle.

Familiar with business strategy and assessments (i.e., feasibility studies, business cases and/or cost/benefit, project sizing and costing, and current state analysis/needs assessments).
