We are looking for a highly motivated and knowledgeable
Claims Supervisor who mainly will focus on prompt, efficient, and thorough resolutions of our freight and equipment claims.


Responsibilities:


  • Overseeing the processing of transportation claims submitted by customers, clients, or other stakeholders
  • Responsible for investigating and resolving customers' freight issues, which may include claims for damaged or lost freight.
  • Reviewing claim documentation, assessing claim validity, and ensuring information is gathered
  • Complete freight claim paperwork with transportation provider—both paper or electronic.
  • Process checks and ensure all parties are paid in a timely manner when a claim is resolved
  • Provide proactive education to the drivers in order to decrease future freight claims
  • Provide written and verbal communication to all involved parties
  • Prepare reports and analysis to provide insights into claims trends, settlement amount or other relevant matrix.
  • Stay updated on applicable laws and guidelines to ensure compliance.

Requirements:


  • Minimum one year of freight claims experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Great problem solving and negotiating skills
  • High level of computer proficiency
  • Excellent administrative and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask in fast paced, performance driven environment
  • Strong planning and organizing skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and desire to succeed
  • Strong team player
