Project Coordinator security Services - Toronto, Canada - Toronto Public Library
Description
Under the direction of the designated supervisor, is responsible for providing coordination and support forsecurity service requests, security projects, and facilities contracts.
DUTIES:
Monitors and completes daily requests for building access and video footage
Coordinates tender and scope documents to support development of Requests for Proposals.
Provides advice, guidance and technical assistance to resolve issues with fobs, cameras, and
building alarm system
Prepares detailed reports and monitors schedules and graphs, and maintains accurate records of
development and budgets on all assigned projects, initiates correction of deficiencies and warranty
items
Coordinates all documentation, including all correspondence from vendors, suppliers, and internal
customer groups
Maintains and replenishes inventory of security equipment hardware
Maintains effective working relations with contractors, consultants, library public service staff, area
municipalities, government bodies and facility operations managers, supervisors, and staff
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Undergraduate degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
A minimum of 5 years' experience and demonstrated knowledge of all aspects of institutional
facility operations and security functions
Extensive knowledge of and experience in the design and construction of institutional facilities with
particular emphasis on construction related to relevant legislation, codes and practices including
the Occupational Health and Safety Act
operations
Understanding of accounting, invoice validation and processing
Working knowledge of current project software
Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
A valid Ontario Driver's Licence Class "G", and use of a personal vehicle for site visits preferred
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
SALARY:
$88,015.20 per annum (2023 Rates)
