The Role:

We are currently searching for a
Supervisor, Operations (Administration) reporting to the Assistant Manager of Operations. This is a
Full-Time Permanent opportunity.


Location:

On-site at the Port Coquitlam Distribution Centre.


What You'll Be Doing:


  • Manage inventories of full goods and empties in accordance with SOP's, housekeeping standards, company accuracy and inventory breakage and loss targets
  • Investigate inventory issues or variances and work with management, and/or Brewer and/or external party for resolution
  • Coordinates Brewery recalls by following established process to track the product either in the warehouse or out in the market to ensure product is recalled
  • Works with BDL Fleet, Third Party carriers and Centralized Routing Team (CRT) to ensure efficiencies, on time delivery and end of day routines are completed consistently
  • Provides effective administrative solutions to support cost effective warehousing and distribution
  • Supervises staff performance, address issues promptly, and implement corrective measures in line with company policies
  • Prioritize, schedule and assign work to achieve the unit's goals and communicate results to Management
  • Sets individual goals, offer guidance, and foster development while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders and ensuring staff understanding of company guidelines and roles
  • Other related duties and projects as assigned

Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience:


Education:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Post secondary education considered an asset

Experience:


  • 3+ years of Supervisory experience preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years of operations experience
  • Previous experience working in a unionized environment would be a strong asset
  • Previous experience with SAP is considered an asset

Skills:


  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
  • Proven leadership ability to effectively manage the team of direct reports
  • Demonstrates time management skills by maintaining focus on priority tasks and understanding the time requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure effective communication with employees, customers, and vendors
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety, Ministry of Transportation and WCB regulations

The base salary for this position will range between $65,900 and $82,400.
