About The Role

The Pre-sales Business Associate is responsible to ensure that Altasciences maintains strong traction in the industry through continuous strategic reach-outs to prospect clients.

He/she will work closely with the Business Development team and Market Analyst as a resource in contacting organizations we currently do not partner with using various communication channels.

The Pre-sales Business Associate will drive the lead qualification engine and work closely with the sales organization to maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory.

What You'll Do Here

Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest;
Identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, discovery, and independent research;
Work with individual members of Business Development on maximizing reach outs linked to Business Travel or Conferences;
Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure;
Work with our marketing team to create meaningful outbound campaigns tailored to potential prospects needs;
Work with the Market Analyst to ensure that reach outs are being tracked accordingly in the prospecting excel/CRM;
Responsible to provide a performance report/metric to the VP and Executive Director of Business Development on a weekly basis;
Other related tasks.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Ideally a B.Sc. or higher level degree in Marketing or related field. Pertinent experience may be considered in lieu.
Successful experience in businesstobusiness sales in pharmaceuticals, biotech, or life sciences preferred;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and exemplary professionalism are required;
Must have ability to work independently, be highly motivated and a team player;
Persuasive communication style, strategic thinking and organization skills required;
Goaloriented with excellent organizational and time management skills;
Enthusiastic demeanor with the natural ability to influence customers.
Must be located in Greater Montreal Area, the position is mostly remote however you will be expected to go onsite to our Laval location for meetings
