  • We are seeking a

Regional Sales Manager to service Eastern Canada Region to supplement and enhance our existing business and to develop new business. The position will report to the Managing Director & Head of Sales Canada.
Your tasks

  • Develop a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the entire Krones product line and marketing plans to develop and implement specific strategies for maintaining and expanding the company's penetrations in the most profitable segments of the market.
  • Actively solicit business by aggressive and imaginative sales programs to meet profit objectives.
  • Interface with customer engineering to aide in definition of components required to fulfill customers packaging and/or turnkey requirements.
  • Interact with Krones departmental personnel involved with proposed project, such as manufacturing, electrical, service and engineering to aide in coordination of efforts necessary to close sale and complete project.
  • Keep abreast of market conditions, competitive activities and customer needs to identify and meet the demands of existing and changing marketing conditions.
  • Follow up on sales leads provided from marketing, make cold calls when leads are unavailable, visit existing customers on a courtesy basis, determine extent of and provide solutions or recommendations for systems and engineering problems.
  • Support and Sell LCS/After Sales products to the customer base and identify hot projects as well as customer expectations; oversee the technical and commercial clarification during both tender and selling phase.
  • Provide expert advice (technical and commercial) to customers about optimizing their equipment, to actively explain and demonstrate the adequate LCS products to the customers.
  • Implement regionally coordinated LCS sales strategies and action plans.
  • Maintain the existing customer base and acquire new customers.
  • Perform according to the Krones sales strategy.
  • Maintain the CRM System: appointments, opportunities, potentials, general client information.

Profile:


  • University Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or Marketing
  • Minimum of 47 years Sales experience in the Packaging industry.
  • Familiarity with packaging equipment that would include filling machines, labelers, packers, blow molders, conveyors, etc. is highly desirable.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. French is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% within the Eastern Region of Canada or Internationally.
  • Selfstarter, gogetter, sales hunter, thrives by working independently.
  • Proactive behavior, taking initiative, and seeking continuous improvement.
  • CRM / Salesforce and SAP Experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and relationship building skills.
