Preparation Team Associate

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare all necessary subcomponents to produce various finished goods
  • Cook all plantbased ingredients and sauces on steam kettle as per formulation
  • Mix various liquid ingredients in commercial blender as per formulation
  • Weigh and mix all dried ingredients in ribbon mixer as per formulation
  • Prepare proprietary fat blend as per formulation
  • Perform and document all necessary food quality and safety checks
  • Schedule the timely production of various subcomponents as per production schedule
  • Input quantities and lot codes of all used raw material into ERP system
  • Monitor and report on inventory usage and level of raw materials to procurement lead
  • Perform sanitation at workstation
  • Follow all GMP, food safety, worker safety, company, and regulatory regulations while working
  • Reports any potential hazard
  • Other assigned duties

Experience and Qualifications

  • A passion for all things plantbased and a personal alignment with our purpose is considered a serious asset.
  • Capable of working on your feet for long periods of time.
  • Previous experience working in a kitchen as a prep cook, a bakery as a baker, a food/cosmetic/pharmaceutical manufacturing plant, a food processing facility, or a food mixing/blending position
  • Ability to multitask and problem solve.
  • A keen eye for detail and commitment to upholding quality standards.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Salary:
$17.00-$20.00 per hour
