Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Planner to join our team.

As a Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing various planning activities to support project development and implementation.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our organization and make a positive impact on our community.


Duties:


  • Collaborate with project teams to develop comprehensive plans for land use, transportation, and infrastructure projects
  • Conduct research and data collection to inform planning decisions
  • Analyze data and prepare reports on demographic, economic, and environmental factors
  • Utilize project management tools and software to track progress and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Assist in the preparation of planning documents, including zoning ordinances, development plans, and environmental impact assessments
  • Review development proposals for compliance with zoning regulations and other applicable policies
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and private developers
  • Participate in public meetings and hearings to present planning proposals and gather feedback
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in urban planning

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices
  • Proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or Sketchup
  • Familiarity with data analysis techniques and tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in using the Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

$30.00-$35.00 per hour
