Description
General idea for this position is the preparation and execution of the daily kitchen operations. The ideal person would demonstrate a good work attitude by personally performing tasks and leading with excellence.

You should also want to work to constantly improve guest satisfaction while keeping up with daily restaurant and kitchen needs.


Responsibilities include and are not limited to:

  • Food preparation as instructed by the Chef
  • Understanding that no job is above or below anyone. Everyone has a distinct roll in what makes us great
  • Look after the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, and in extension the restaurant, lounge, and waste disposal areas.
  • Maintaining daily tasks and goal as set out by Chef
  • Following and executing recipes and menu items above and beyond expectations every time.
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests

Requirements:


  • Handson working experience preferred, but we welcome all who wish to learn
  • Excellent attendance and attention to detail
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
  • Capable of working nights, as well as early mornings.
  • Communication and respect above all else

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent


Salary:
$15.50-$19.00 per hour

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Port Severn, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
