This is the job for you We are currently looking for a Document Clerk for one of our clients in the insurance industry.

    Responsibilities:


    • Open, prepare, and sort all received mail designated for digital imaging and subsequent processing.
    • Analyze document content to determine its corresponding Business area/work type (Individual Life, Wealth Management, Affinity, GSRS, Bank, and/or Group).
    • Apply appropriate tracking methodologies for specific mail streams and processes.
    • Perform document scanning duties using high-speed scanners when necessary.
    • Monitor select workflow queues to troubleshoot imaging issues directed from Business Unit processing areas.
    • Provide the necessary level of Quality Control (QC).
    • Deliver excellent quality customer service and act as a liaison between Office Services and Business Unit customers.
    • Maintain a consistent workflow, set priorities, and work within tight deadlines to meet all Service Level Agreements (SLAs), which directly impact the ability of all Business Units to process their work.
    What you will need to succeed:


    • Experience operating office equipment and ability to troubleshoot minor hardware and software issues.
    • Proven knowledge of all Business Unit document types and forms recognition.
    • Working knowledge of AWD, CICS, Lotus Notes, IAS, Compass, InfoDirect.
    • Demonstrated PC skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills for a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
    • Ability to manage fluctuating volumes of work and to set short-term priorities.
    • Critical attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to recognize a wide variety of documents.
    • Works well independently as well as in a team environment.
    • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
    • French (spoken and written) required.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Ability to maintain confidential information.
    • Candidate must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
