    Reporting to the VP, Finance and IT an CFO, the Senior Manager, FP&A will be working in partnership to ensure financial integrity and provide insight to influence our stakeholders

    The main purpose of this role will be:

    • Taking responsibility for coordinating the business P&Ls (Wholesale & Retail), providing the necessary information to the Senior Leadership team to ensure company objectives are achieved, identifying areas of risk and implementation of plans to mitigate
    • Leading the long-term strategic financial planning cycle for the business
    • Leading, managing and improving the financial business planning process, including budget planning and latest estimate forecasting
    • Input into strategic direction of Lindt Canada business' at Key Leaders forums. Finance Leadership Team (FLT), working in collaboration with CFO, Financial Controller and Commercial Finance Director
    • Ownership of the FP&A, Supply Chain Finance & Marketing Finance responsibilities & cross-functional collaboration
    • Effectively managing 3 direct reports: Senior Financial Analyst – Marketing Finance, Senior Financial Analyst – Supply Chain Finance and Financial Analyst – FP&A

    Responsibilities:

    P&L Management/Month End & Reporting

    • Production of Company P&L, monthly reporting of key figures to Canadian executive team and coordinating the submission of the monthly CEO comments
    • Detailed review of Supply Chain, Marketing and Costing month-end financials and reporting

    Long Term Planning

    • Responsible for the planning, development and final output and insight for key business processes including the Mid Term plan, MPD, Budget and Latest Estimates
    • Finance lead for the MPD process and partnering with the Marketing & Sales Strategy teams as well as the executive team to put together Brand and company P&Ls for MPD
    • Finance lead for the annual budget process and presentation
    • Coordinating with the Commercial Finance and Accounting team to ensure the best assumptions are used for longer term planning, challenge where appropriate
    • Providing clear assumptions and guidance to cross-functional business partner for accurate planning of all forecasts

    Insights & Financial Objective Delivery

    • Regular tracking of business KPI's, reporting back to the business, forecasting full year numbers, providing insights on gaps or over-deliveries and facilitating gap closing initiatives
    • Partnering with the Commercial Finance Director to assist the business with validating new product P&Ls and launches

    Supply Chain Partnership

    • Partnering with Operations on the annual Capital budget (planning, forecasting and performance management)
    • Partnering & lead the performance management of the distribution & indirect costs (Monthly, Quarterly & Annual processes)
    • Partnering on the development of Investment requests and to gain executive approvals locally and internationally

    Requirements:

    • Ability to apply significant professional judgment, manages teams and supports strategic decision making. Role is guided by broad practices and procedures and is required to translate the strategic plan into deliverable and budgeted plans.
    • Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance preferred
    • CPA designation preferred
    • Extensive experience and a broad knowledge of the techniques and practices of Finance
    • Demonstrate strong leadership qualities – able to enlist, energize and develop others
    • Strong communication and networking skills
    • Performance driven, tenacious and goal orientated
    • An innovative problem solver and a facilitator of change
    • A strategic thinker, with a wide knowledge of the confectionary industry and its competitors
    • Able to work cross functionally both internally and externally
    • Strong PowerPoint, Excel, financial modelling and system skills
