Job purpose

Process and Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining and managing the current and new incoming inventory of devices and parts for the Service Repair Center.

Work with First Article Specialist and Compugen clients to discover, document and verify through testing the operational steps required to configure the client's IT devices to function in their work environment.

This fast-paced position is a key element of our quality assurance program.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Work with the First Article Specialist to collect and understand the customers environment and Service Repair Centre/imaging requirements.
  • Create and document the step by step working instructions (TSV document) prepared for the Service Repair Technicians.
  • Work with clients to ensure test devices prepared using First Article instructions function as expected in the customer's work environment.
  • Create and obtain customer sign off/waiver in preparation for production.
  • Process RMA with Vendors on behalf of clients for there defective product.
  • Organizing and proper structure of incoming Inventory of devices and parts
  • Work order creation and assignment of work to the proper technician
  • Work with the Service Logistics to manage the decommissioned equipment as per ISO standard Process.
  • Properly package and label outbound devices and parts for the Service Logistics Team

Qualifications

  • Three years of related job experience in the logistics industry
  • Experience with current Operating Systems and Microsoft Office related products.
  • Proper written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven sense of urgency to complete tasks and assignments
  • High level of integrity and honesty
  • Ability to take direction and follow practices and procedures consistently and accurately.
  • Good time management skills
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Analytical and detailoriented problemsolving approach
  • Must pass Security Clearance check.

Working conditions

  • Standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm, but not to exceed regular work hours.
  • May be required to work overtime, with paid compensation based on the Employment Standards Act of overtime payment for the province they reside in.

Physical requirements

  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Must be able to stand on feet several hours per day as required.
