Join our fast-paced and motivated team at Strategic Group, Calgary as the Administrative Coordinator. You will work with and support the Project Manager, Superintendent and other members of the team.


As our Project Coordinator, you will:

  • Maintain project job costs and job contact list
  • Distribute subcontract forms and revisions
  • Manage the project filing system
  • Compile quotes & estimates
  • Input construction budgets
  • Maintain insurance and WCB information for contractors
  • Receive, follow up, distribute and track RFIs.
  • Prepare correspondence: charge back letters, authorization letters, commencement and completion announcements, possession reports, internal memos and letters, etc.
  • Be familiar with the contract documents (drawings and specifications)
  • Distribute and track submittals to the corresponding Project Coordinator
  • Receive, log and distribute new drawings / other information
  • Log/track/code all invoices
  • Sort/disburse invoices for approval
  • Prepare Cheque requisitions
  • Issue Purchase Orders
  • Review and process all timecards, expenses, credit card purchases
  • Prepare and disburse Security reports
  • Coordinate Property Services jobs
  • Ongoing communication with Construction Managers

The requirements for this position are:

  • A minimum of 3 years of equivalent experience in a similar role with Sage accounting knowledge
  • A high level of attention to detail, resulting in 100% accuracy of recorded information
- the ability to prioritize and complete tasks and projects on time

  • Experience managing multiple projects would be an asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and Outlook are a must.
