Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Machinist to join our team at Perras Weir.

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts and components.


Responsibilities:


  • Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes, milling machines, grinders) according to specifications.
  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
  • Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and accessories for each job.
  • Load raw materials, input program codes, and adjust machine settings.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and quality.
  • Measure and inspect finished parts using precision instruments.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance tasks and troubleshoot issues.
  • Collaborate with the production team and engineering staff to optimize processes.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
  • Document production activities and maintain quality records.

Salary:
$30.00-$42.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

Experience:


  • Machining: 4 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Red Seal Certification (preferred)
