We are currently seeking a qualified individual to join our Engineering team to support and coordinate the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and CAD activities in the role of
PLM / CAD Administrator.



Purpose


The
PLM / CAD Administrator utilizes strong CAD (SolidWorks) and PLM (3DExperience) skills coupled with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to review, plan, schedule, monitor and coordinate CAD and PLM activities at CPC Pumps.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordination of all prerollout and rollout activities new PLM/CAD Activities
  • Overall template and usecase validation and Coordination of use case testing
  • Defining data migration requirements and validating/testing of data migration results
  • Coordination and delivery of training programs for various departments
  • Support of user trainings
  • User care and issue mapping
  • Support user administration and licenses allocation for 3DExperinece
  • Work together with Atlas Copco IT services to coordinate client installations
  • Management, maintenance, and upgrade of CAD (SolidWorks) drawings, settings, and templates, and standards
  • Support engineering and key users with daytoday activities including but not limited to: production release flow activities via PLM

Qualification Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at a time
  • Well organized and able to prioritize tasks
  • Proven selfstarter with strong work ethic, high energy, and positive attitude
  • Commitment to customer service and ability to work in a teamoriented environment
  • Motivated, proactive, team player with excellent interpersonal skills

Education and/or Experience

  • University/College Degree in an engineering or related field is required
  • PLM (3DExperinece) experience is preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience using SolidWorks is required (CSWP is an asset)
  • Computer Programming background is an asset
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, Power Point)
  • Experience working with SAP environment is an asset

Physical Demands

  • Office environment involves sedentary work with repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment where problems occur and workload is heavy

Work Environment

  • Work environment involves working in both the warehouse and office settings
  • Warehouse environment involves ability to work in a high noise area, work around moving conveyors, forklifts, machines, and equipment
  • Must wear personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and steel toed boots, while working in warehouse
  • Must be aware of and comply with all relevant safety policy and procedures

Job Type:
Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months
