As a Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing pricing data and developing pricing strategies to optimize business profitability.

Your duties will include reviewing and monitoring pricing structures; researching market trends to conduct competitive analysis; and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.

You will also be responsible for tracking and evaluating pricing performance, making adjustments as needed, and preparing reports for senior management.

Job Description:

Review invoice line items and follow up on those with low or negative margins
Analyze and approve/reject orders that require special pricing
Assist in special project related to window pricing (OMNI project)
Establish a daily process for identifying and correcting pricing discrepancies
Standardize project pricing across Canada
Monitor and evaluate competitor pricing strategies and market trends to inform pricing decisions
Establishing and maintaining relationships with sales reps to gain insight on regional pricing
Prepare pricing reports for senior management and other stakeholders
Create a dashboard to maintain and track average selling prices, costs, and margins

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field
2+ years of experience in pricing analysis, finance, or a related field preferred
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Initiative and ownership on tasks and the ability to work independently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Excel
Advanced Power BI skills an asset
