    Description

    Job Overview

    Cougar Fuels is currently looking for experienced Class 5Q, Fuel Delivery Driver for our Suncor Fort Hills On-Site Refueling Operations in Fort McMurray. Drivers will encounter all types of road, weather and occasional traffic conditions. These positions are Seasonal, and include camp and flights from Edmonton or Calgary. Shift is 7/7.

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Perform pre and post trip inspections
    • Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
    • Responsible for fueling mobile and stationary equipment on site locations
    • Accurately recording all deliveries to ensure proper documentation
    • Maintains accurate account of truck equipment and reports any mechanical and physical defects
    • Other duties assigned

    Education, Experience and Skills:

    • A valid Class 5Q license
    • A valid CSO
    • Previous oil sands experience an asset
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Fuel hauling experience and/or liquid, bulk fluids would be an asset
    • Strong work ethic
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Motivation and ability to work well independently or within a team environment
    • Safety training and badges would be considered an asset
    • Safety conscious and have the ability to identify hazards and document them properly

    Physical Requirements:

    • Work is physically strenuous and workers are required to lift heavy fueling equipment up to 50 pounds.
    • Work may require excessive bending or stooping
    • Employee required to use hand tools.
    • Employees are required to be clean-shaven in accordance with grooming and safety standards.

    Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Fly-In/Fly-Out

    Contract length: 6 months

    Work Location: In person
