Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Digital Workplace, the Change Manager is responsible for the provision of support in the areas of employee technology engagement process reengineering, development of support programs, continuous improvement, training, communications and change activities that impact the employee experience.

The IT Change Manager will be provided the opportunity to lead functional initiatives and enhancements, involving documentation of processes and gap analysis, pulling teams together when required, change management support, training and project managing initiatives through to completion.


Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Identification, gap analysis, risk mitigation, development and implementation of standard business processes and technological changes impacting the employee technology experience.
  • Works closely with Technology, Program Management and Business Teams to assess, develop and execute on change strategies
  • Train new and existing employees on technical changes and improvements when required.
  • Prepare and present status reports for project stakeholders and leadership.
  • Identify, implement and track success and benefits realized using standardized metrics.
  • Ongoing assessment and identification of business evolution opportunities and gaps impacting the employee technology experience.
  • Facilitate crossfunctional collaboration to ensure that change projects are successfully integrated across various departments and business lines
  • Support the various business units to identify and recommend solutions to operational challenges and identify opportunities to increase efficiency.
  • Design, develop and effectively deliver technology related change communications to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Participate in projects and workgroups and liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Develop and update technical documentation (i.e. Verve, training documentation) where and when required.
  • Development and implementation of standard business processes impacting the employee technology experience.
  • Manage the Technology Landscape calendar of events.
  • Measures and monitors the success of change initiatives

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • 3-5 years' experience in a financial environment focusing on technical and business operations.
  • Process improvement training and experience.
  • Minimum solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process. Change Management certified (CCMP) or working towards a professional designation in Change Management is an asset.
  • Understanding of Project Management methodologies.
  • Understanding of Financial Services, technical and operational processes that support our business together with key stakeholders.
