About Us_

Fission Uranium is a growing mine development company with a head office in Kelowna, BC. The Company is developing a high-grade uranium deposit in Saskatchewan, with a second office location in Saskatoon, SK.

Position Summary_

This role is intended for a dynamic individual excited about the opportunity to use technology to help drive success with a collaborative and customer-centric culture.

The individual will be responsible for providing general IT services to the company on a proactive and reactive basis. The person will be required to support offices in Kelowna, BC and Saskatchewan. Some after-hours work could be possible, including time sensitive requests and project work. Balancing multiple priorities with deadlines is essential.

Compensation_

The IT Manager role is a full-time, salaried position with compensation in the range of $65,000 to $75,000 commensurate with skills, experience and abilities.

The Company also offers an extended health benefit package and eligibility to participate in discretional bonus and stock option programs.

What You'll Do Here_

• Provide technical support and escalation response to endusers.
• Implement and manage technology solutions built on Microsoft Azure cloud services, Microsoft 365 office productivity and security solutions.
• Implement and maintain network and network security solutions.
• Complete recurring tasks, documenting work within our time management system.
• Create accurate and effective documentation and assist with developing processes and repeatable technical practices.

Qualifications/Expertise_

• Minimum 3 years of IT Consulting experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and synchronization mechanisms.
• Working knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop and Remote Desktop Services (RDS) and profile management is an asset.
• Microsoft Intune and FortiGate NGFW experience is an asset.
• Experience with deployment, management, and maintenance of Active Directory & Entra ID environments.
• Experience with deployment, management, and maintenance of server, storage and virtualization infrastructure solutions.

Required Certifications Include_

• Microsoft 365 Windows Client (MD100) or equivalent experience
• Managing Modern Desktops (MD101) or equivalent experience
• Microsoft 365 Mobility and Security (MS101) or equivalent experience
• Microsoft 365 Teams Administrator Associate (MS700) or equivalent experience

Salary:
$65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
