    Description

    Brandt is currently seeking a Labourer for our High River Agriculture (John Deere) location

    This position will involve detailing equipment, organizing the equipment in the yard, and possibly delivering customer units, depending on the workload in the shop. Maintaining all aspects of dealership premises including grading, leveling, snow removal, weed spraying, cutting grass, ensuring sidewalks are clean and safe as well as other maintenance as required. This position is also responsible for assisting in the dismantling of heavy equipment and components.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Detailing heavy equipment once the repairs have been completed
    • Maintaining the wash bay equipment and cleanliness of the wash bay
    • Cleaning parts and components
    • Cleaning and maintaining the yard and shop
    • Organizing equipment in the yard and maintaining dealership premises (grading, leveling snow removal)
    • Some inventory maintenance
    • Assisting the other shop personnel with fulfilling their duties and increase overall shop productivity
    • Other duties as assigned

    Required Skills

    Required Experience
    • Demonstrate safe and efficient workplace practices
    • Highly motivated individual who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Able to carry out and understand verbal and written instructions
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Capable of meeting the physical demands of the heavy duty equipment environment (ie: lifting up to 75 pounds)
    • Forklift experience and heavy-duty parts handling an asset
    • Capable of working under minimum amount of supervision
    • Previous mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
    • Previous experience detailing equipment or vehicles would be an asset
    • Familiar operating heavy equipment would be an asset
    • Interested in pursuing an apprenticeship, but not required
    • Valid Class 5 driver's license, Class 1A license would be an asset
