Description

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a vehicle to transport passengers along a preassigned route
  • Provide passengers with information on schedules and stops
  • Perform pretrip, en route and posttrip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Maintain a clean and presentable bus interior and exterior
  • Complete elogs and reports
  • Handle various mobility devices and equipment, including wheelchairs
  • Understand and be empathetic to the needs of customers, ensuring proper care and attention is provided
  • Report delays, mechanical problems and accidents
  • Communicate with passengers in a professional and courteous manner

Requirements:


  • Class 1 or Class 2 Commercial Driver's Licence with air brake
  • Fluent in English
  • Minimum of 1 year motor coach experience
  • Customer service skills to provide a positive experience for passengers
  • Willing to stay in our staff quarter in Airdrie for three days weekly
  • Willing to work various hours and shifts (including holidays, weekends and evenings)

Salary
starting from $270 per day
