Infrastructure Support Technician

The Infrastructure Support Technician position is responsible for the following:


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for technical support at clients' sites including resolving desktop, server, printer, software, and network issues.
  • Maintain records of all work completed through ticketing system.
  • Responsible for integrating and supporting various Windowsbased and client/serverbased networks, as well as virtual servers running on Microsoft Hyper-V.
  • Test and install Windows Server patches and software updates.
  • Maintain and monitor backup software and logs.
  • Assist with various IT projects and upgrades.
  • Respond quickly and efficiently to customers' concerns.

Qualifications:


We are looking for a team player who thrives in a fast-paced, team environment and who takes pride in delivering timely and accurate results.


  • 5 years' experience in server/client networks.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Server products and networking.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience operating in a professional clientfacing role.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient communication and customer service skills.
  • Adept at multitasking and time management.
  • ConnectWise Manage/Automate knowledge is an asset
  • Relevant degree or diploma in Information Technology
  • Must have a reliable vehicle and Class 5 license
