Responsibilities:

Responsible for prejob safety instruction (PSI) and job hazard analysis (JHA). Safely tests and inspects tools and equipment.
Promotes a safety culture.
Selects and stores material, equipment, and tools to satisfy the requirements of the requisitions.
Champion initiatives to reduce nonvalue add activities and streamline processes while maintaining or improving effectiveness.
Arranging freight and completing documentation.
Maintaining accurate inventory tracking.
Reviewing repair estimates and scheduling equipment service and recertification.
Develops and maintains strong customer focused relationships with all stakeholders.
Responsible for housekeeping of the facility.
Assists with the loading and offloading of material, equipment, and tools.
Maintain parking and building maintenance: lights / furniture etc.
Operate forklift.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
No experience required.
Hold a valid drivers license.
Ability to safely operate forklift and other equipment to load/unload material.
Effective organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
Proven experience in warehouse, inventory control, or shipping/receiving.
Ability to understand and employ the company's specifications, methods, and procedures.
Basic understanding of construction tools, materials, and equipment.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. without restrictions.
Telehandler / forklift and skid training an asset.
