Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide mental health support and therapy to diverse patient populations, including children and pediatric patients. This role involves collaborating with medical professionals, conducting research, and managing patient care plans to promote emotional well-being and recovery. The Psychotherapist will play a vital role in supporting patients through individualized treatment strategies within a clinical setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychotherapy sessions with patients of all ages, including children and pediatrics, utilizing evidence-based techniques.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
- Engage in case management activities, including monitoring patient progress and adjusting therapy approaches as needed.
- Collect and analyze data related to patient outcomes to inform ongoing treatment strategies.
- Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions, patient histories, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in research initiatives aimed at improving mental health interventions and patient care practices.
- Utilize medical terminology accurately when documenting cases and communicating with healthcare providers.
- Support patients with special needs or those requiring specialized education or care plans.
- Assist in coordinating care for patients with hospital experience or complex medical histories.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children, pediatrics, or in hospital settings is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of patient care principles, case management, and data collection methods.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and mental health treatment modalities.
- Experience or training in special education or working with patients requiring tailored educational approaches is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to build trust with diverse patient populations.
- Relevant licensure or certification as a licensed Psychotherapist or Mental Health Professional is required.
