- Excellent proposal writing and donor communication skills.
- Experience contributing to organizational strategy.
- Comfort representing an organization publicly through presentations and events.
- Ability to travel across Canada, as required.
- A "hunter" mindset; proactively pursuing new donor relationships and opportunities rather than waiting for leads.
- Experience in acquiring new business or donors, not only in stewarding existing ones.
- High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and prioritization skills.
- CFRE designation (or in progress) is considered an asset.

About the Director of Impact Partnerships role
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Impact Partnerships is a senior fundraising leader responsible for developing and strengthening strategic partnerships with high-net-worth donors, foundations, corporations, and small businesses.

The position begins as a one‑year contract with the intention of transitioning into a full‑time, permanent role based on performance and fundraising milestones, with a targeted start date in early 2026. It is a full‑time, non‑unionized, fully remote vacancy open to candidates across Canada, with a preference for those located in the GTA, Calgary, Edmonton, or Vancouver area and includes periodic travel for donor meetings, events, and stakeholder engagements.
The salary for this role is $85,000 annually plus an 8% pension allotment, accompanied by full health benefits and an annual $1,500 health spending account. The compensation package includes 25 vacation days per year, one additional day awarded for each full year of service up to five years, and the option to purchase an additional week of vacation.
