Description

We are looking for a full-time permanent Human Resources (HR) Advisor who will work out of the Vancouver office/remote and report to the Manager, Human Resources.


This position will largely involve remote work within Metro Vancouver, but occasional travel may be required to offices located in Metro Vancouver on an as needed basis.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide HR expertise to leaders and employees on a variety of employee relations issues and provides options with recommendations for issue resolution consistent with policy, and applicable legislation.
  • Full scope of HR tasks including but not limited to: supporting performance management and employee development, talent reviews, training, HR reporting, HR compliance, supporting payroll, employee benefits, personnel administration process and other;
  • Support to resolve employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Partner with HR Manager to build awareness of company policies and processes by training and communication to Studio Heads and employees.
  • Provide highlevel administrative support to the Human Resources Department.
  • Coordinate or assist with setting up orientation sessions for new hires.
  • Main point of contact for HRIS processes and reporting. Handle all inputting of data into the HRIS, conduct audits to ensure data integrity/accuracy, create/run HRIS reports and handle other HRISrelated tasks, as needed.
  • Conduct or assist with employee exit interviews.
  • Support the implementation of Human Resources programs and initiatives working with other departments.
  • Perform other duties as directed.

Requirements:


  • 35 years experience in a Human Resources Coordinator or Advisor role supplemented by a university degree or diploma in a relevant discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal and customer service delivery skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.
  • Maintain confidentiality of HR information
  • Demonstrated ability to work proactively with tight deadlines and competing priorities.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Must be available to work 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday-Friday.
