Founded in 2012, Lancaster Technologies is located in the beautiful Niagara Region, our manufacturing facility in Fort Erie, Ontario is just minutes from the Canada-US border.

We specialise in the manufacture of solid dose tablets, both in chewable and caplet form. We also provide packaging solutions, including high speed bottling, induction sealing & capping, labeling, cartoning and fulfillment.

Lancaster Technologies is looking for a Production Supervisor to join our team.

Working closely with the Manufacturing Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily manufacturing and packaging functions in the plant.


  • Assist with and coordinate the manufacturing and packaging plan/schedules.
  • Warehouse management and inventory control including off site storage.
  • Review and approve documents in conjunction with QA
  • Ensure daily production meets GMP standards and corporate guidelines
  • Conduct SOP training
  • Check inventory adjustments and warehouse inventory count
  • Responsible for shipping and receiving raw, packaging materials and finished goods
  • Coordinate safety program and safety improvements with EHS/HR
  • Oversee custodial, pest control and building maintenance
  • Ensure all training is complete in these areas to support gmp as well as EHS compliance.
  • Ensure inventory is controlled change control phase out of components / disposals.
  • Create Master Batch Records for all products.
  • Approve all Packaging Work Orders and Manufacturing Records.
  • Participating in site projects relating to equipment installations, renovations, upgrades and modifications.

Requirements:


  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Business, Chemistry, Biology, or related discipline
years experience in pharmaceutical industry

  • Must be medically cleared to work in the plant and participate in medical surveillance program
  • Detail oriented, able to prioritize multiple tasks, work well under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written), leadership, motivation, organizational qualities.
  • Welldeveloped computer skills.
- cGMP knowledgeable

  • Experience with customer service, Health Canada and FDA audits
  • EHS Knowledge
