Summary:

As a Domestic Cleaner with Bloomsdale, you will be responsible for providing exceptional cleaning services to our clients in and around the GTA or Durham Region.

We are searching for a diligent cleaner with a positive attitude, great stamina and dedication to provide desired results and respect for the home and its inhabitants.

Responsibilities of these positions may include but are not limited to:

Dusting, mopping, sweeping and washing; floors, toilets, showers, tubs, driveways, windows, and counters.
Vacuuming carpets, upholstery, and any other dusty surfaces.
Making Beds and fluffing pillows.
Sanitizing all relevant surfaces.
Cleaning all surfaces in living rooms, kitchen, and bathroom.
Carefully handling furniture and appliances.
Carefully using cleaning chemicals for specific areas.
Adhere to the safe work/risk management policies and procedures of Bloomsdale Health Services.
Work within the Ethical Practice Framework of Bloomsdale Health Services.
Clean, sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment before and after use.

Domestic Cleaner Requirements:

High School Diploma or similar
A valid driver's license and vehicle is a plus.
Fully Vaccinated (COVID19).
Good knowledge of cleaning supplies and cleaning chemicals.
Availability to work days OR evenings including weekends.
Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent organizational skills.
This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty (25) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement.
