About The Role
As a member of the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team within BRP's global Parts, Accessories, and Apparel (PA&A) group, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the distribution, transportation, and logistics segments of our international operations.
Your primary focus will be on developing sophisticated financial models, analyzing operational performance, and contributing to strategic decision-making processes that enhance our global transportation efficiency.
This role offers a unique opportunity to influence key aspects of our supply chain, drive cost optimization, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
You will collaborate closely with management and various business units, providing insights through data-driven analysis and visualizations that facilitate informed, strategic choices.
In this dynamic environment, your expertise will help shape the future of our transportation operations, ensuring operational excellence and financial sustainability across our global footprint.
QualificationsThree (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience in data analysis and finance
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, supply chain management, or a related field
Proficiency in SQL and experience with query tools such as Snowflake or SSMS
Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Power BI
Knowledge of ETL tools such as Knime and Dataiku (preferred but not mandatory)
Programming skills in Python, R, or SQL
Experience working with enterprise systems such as SAP, TM1, or Ariba
Strong analytical skills with a focus on financial modeling and operational performance analysis
Excellent communication skills in both official languages (English and French)
Ability to work independently and lead projects in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain collaborative relationships
Curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset, seeking best practices and industry networking opportunities
Demonstrated sense of responsibility, accountability, and team spirit
Responsibilities
Develop and refine data-driven financial models to support strategic decision-making in distribution, transportation, and 3PL operations
Evaluate operational and financial performance by analyzing variances against budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to management
Prepare, update, and maintain accurate financial forecasts and budgets based on historical data, current trends, and predictive analytics
Manage and optimize ETL processes to ensure accurate extraction, transformation, and loading of data from multiple sources into centralized data warehouses
Create and deliver intuitive dashboards and reports using advanced visualization tools to communicate complex financial and operational data effectively
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost efficiencies
Support continuous improvement initiatives by researching best practices and industry standards
Participate in cross-departmental projects to ensure alignment of financial strategies with operational goals
Assist in ad hoc analysis and special projects related to transportation and logistics performance
