    Adobe AEM Applications Architect

    Job Responsibilities
    • Adobe AEM Applications Architect applied to both the process and the outcome of thinking out and specifying the overall structure, logical components, and the logical interrelationships of a computer, its operating system, a network, or other conception.
    • Defines the structure and relationship among applications, including the identification of reusable components, quality level metrics, the organization and layering of software, and the determination of interfaces.
    • Adobe AEM Applications Architect responsibilities also include developing, implementing, and managing at least one cross-platform application in a large and distributed environment, monitor the whole system, understand all interactions between components on a given level of abstraction, as well as to define limitations and requirements for source code.
    • Defines the interactions between application packages, databases, and middleware systems.

    Must Haves:
    • At least 10 years of experience in design, development, implementation and maintenance of large complex Adobe AEM applications, workflow processes, and dynamic forms.
    • At least 10 years of experience in Adobe AEM integration with other systems such as Oracle Siebel, IBM Curam, J2EE, or other COTS systems.

    Evaluation Criteria
    • Core Skills and Experience - 40 %
    • At least 10 years of experience in design, development, implementation and maintenance of large complex Adobe AEM applications, workflow processes, and dynamic forms.
    • At least 10 years of experience in Adobe AEM integration with other systems such as Oracle Siebel, IBM Curam, J2EE, or other COTS systems.
    • At least 10 years of experience in Adobe LiveCycle products such as Form, Output, Reader Extension, Digital Signature, and Rights Management.
    • Demonstrated experience with Adobe AEM enterprise technology, integration solutions, and solution methodologies
    • Technical Skills and Experience - 35%
    • Must have hands-on experience with n-tier web-based applications, Unix, Shell Scripting, Ant script, Javascript, XML/XSD, XSL, HTML5, and source code management tools like Subversion or CVS.
    • Execute tasks on XSLT/XQuery/XPath and transformation capabilities, hands-on experience with Oxygen XSLT IDE or any XSLT IDE for creating and debugging XSL
    • Experience designing detailed functional and technical requirements for new and existing business solutions.
    • Working knowledge in analyzing and designing changes to existing web-based software solutions
    • Working knowledge of SDLC methodologies such as Agile development
    • Demonstrated experience in and understanding of J2EE architecture
    • Soft Skills - 20%
    • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
    • Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions
    • Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams
    • Demonstrated ability to work with functional and technical teams Demonstrated ability to participate in a large team and work closely with other individual team members
    • Proven analytical skills and systematic problem-solving
    • Strong ability to work under pressure, work with aggressive timelines, and be adaptive to change
    • Displays problem-solving and analytical skills, using them to resolve technical problems
    • Public sector Experience - 5%
    • Knowledge of client transfer payment policy and directive
    • Experience with Grants Management would be an asset

    Note:
    • Hybrid role- 3 days per week in the office required.
