Shipper and Receiver
We are seeking a Shipper/Receiver - Facility/Asset Keeper to join our team in Saskatoon, SK.


Responsibilities:


  • Shipping & Receiving: Oversee and execute shipping & receiving services and solutionsBe responsible for ensuring seamless processing of all outgoing and incoming shipments
Prepare and schedule shipments as assigned with different carriers/couriers
Process all required paperwork and maintain accurate records for reporting and tracking purposes
Verify receipts, sort and distribute incoming shipments
Perform quality audits of the condition of shipped goods for both incoming and outgoing items
Problem solve for any cases of missing or late documents, shipments and deliveries

  • Facility & Property: Support facility and property needsMaintain organized, accessible and efficient shop support of operational team
Maintain organized, accessible and efficient yard in support of operational team
Support management with office area requirements as assigned

  • Fleet: Support fleet requirements as assigned, including but not limited to:
Drop offs and pickups for fleet related maintenanceIncludes Shermco owned trailers

  • Tools & Equipment: Support tools and equipment requirements as assigned, including but not limited to:Support tool and equipment tracking
Support tool and equipment calibrations
Support tool and equipment repair and maintenance

  • Pickups & Deliveries: Support pickup and delivery requirements as assigned, including but not limited to:Pickup and delivery of tools, equipment, material to and from Shermco client job sites
Pickup and delivery of tools, equipment, material to and from Shermco offices
Pickup and delivery of Shermco personnel
Pickup and delivery to and from Shermco vendors


Qualifications:


  • High school diploma with 12 years working experience in a Shipping & Receiving role
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract
  • Certified and experienced operating a forklift
  • Experience connecting, disconnecting, backing and hauling cargo and flat deck type trailers
  • Online shipping, tracking and receiving experience utilizing FedEx, UPS, Purolator and DHL
  • Knowledge of filling out waybills and bills of landing for Canadawide as well as international shipments
  • Computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office
  • Physical fitness and mobility required for moving/lifting of shipments

  • Able to work effectively as a part of a team as well as independently
  • Both verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail in all areas of work
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
$25.00-$30.00 per hour
