Summary

Lift Family Place provides a wide range of community services focusing on the needs of families, parents and caregivers with children under the age of six.

We run a drop-in centre that houses programming, food services and acts as a community connection point. We host a comfortable, safe and clean space that provides social interaction and a place for children to play.

Our Family Place Support Workers are warm and friendly and provide an inclusive welcome to the centre. They are kind, professional and courteous to all who use our centre. They are comfortable with young children and provide playful learning opportunities for both children and caregivers. They are open and non-judgmental, modeling compassion and patience. They have experience in the early childhood years and understand the rigors of caregiving for young children. They are empathetic and practice professional boundaries and maintain confidentiality within the policies of Lift Community Services.

In a busy and interactive centre such as ours, our Support Workers are the centre's engine, providing clean, clear space for interaction, play and learning.
