We currently have an opportunity for a HR Systems Specialist in our Winnipeg Head Office.

The HR Systems Specialist is a great opportunity for someone who wants to combine their love for technology and systems with their experience in and knowledge of Human Resources.


As part of the HR team, the HR Systems Specialist will provide technical support and systems expertise on HR systems.

In this role you will be responsible for HR systems administration and reporting and will support the implementation of, on-line HR processes and the on-going automation of HR processes/forms and employee self-service functions where appropriate.


Responsibilities:


  • Support the administration of our various HRIS systems as a systems expert
  • Act as the first point of escalation for end user and HR user inquiries/questions
  • Import data, develop and maintain HRIS documentation
  • Participate in ongoing HRIS implementation activities including participating in testing of software changes/upgrades
  • Provide backup support for technical issues related to various HR software, as well as update these systems with basic changes as required
  • Create and run regularly scheduled reports and ad hoc reports upon request

Qualifications:

  • Postsecondary education in Human Resources or related education with 35 years' experience in Human Resources
  • Proficient with HRIS
  • Experience with HR reporting
  • Strong knowledge of Word, PowerPoint combined with advanced level Excel skills
  • Strong analytical capability and enjoy troubleshooting
  • Ability to work independently, managing multiple priorities/projects and deadlines effectively
