WHAT TO EXPECT:

Reporting to the Chief Metallurgist, the main duties of this position will be to:

  • Develop and maintain a subcontracting supply chain (machining, painting, heat treatment,...)
  • Implement processes for monitoring and controlling the quality of subcontractors
  • Implement a planning process including subcontracting operations
  • Support the sales process for bids requiring subcontracting
  • Manage information related to subcontracting in the ERP system

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:


  • Relevant experience in project management, subcontracting management or logistics
  • Good communication skills
  • Functional English spoken and written
  • Rigor, curiosity, autonomy and resourcefulness
  • Interest in working with multidisciplinary technical teams
  • Ability to interpret and understand technical documents
  • Knowledge and/or experience in machining an asset
