How You Will Contribute:
Reporting to Senior Manager, Software Engineering Applications, as a New Grad, Cloud Infrastructure and Services, you will primarily work on the development of infrastructure and services supporting the Development Engine and the internal design community users) across multiple products.
Specific areas of focus will include the deployment and support of OpenSource tools and services to address needs in areas such as machine learning, data science, test automation and security.
This is done through practices such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevSecOps, CI/CD while contributing as part of a team that leverages cutting edge technologies.
- You will perform scripting, coding, and integration of tools and develop and maintain automated pipelines for infrastructure tooling
- Partake in maintenance activities and support critical services during outages
- Develop or extend new services used for management of infrastructure services supported by the IOST team

The Must Haves:
- High level of comfort with programming & scripting languages such as Python, BASH, C/C++, Java or other object or functional languages
- Experience working on Linux environments, good knowledge of standard Linux services
- Proven ability to leverage opensource frameworks and tools to reduce development time
- Familiarity with containerization tools: e.g., Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience using version control tools such as Bitbucket, Gerrit, GitHub
- Some experience with databases: SQL or document based DBs
Assets:
- Excellent problem solving and decisionmaking skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a teamoriented environment
- Experience in automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and provisioning tools including shell scripting, Python, Ansible or similar, Docker, etc
- Familiarity with networking concepts and fundamentals
- Exposure to observability and alerting systems, examples: Open Telemetry, Grafana, ELK, OpenSearch
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Environments: Linux, Windows
