In this role, you will join our team in Markham, ON office.

Report writing
Monitoring Site Grading Activities
Soil Identification and Examination of Subgrade Soils
Insitu Density and Compaction Testing
Concrete, Mortar and Grout Sampling and Testing
Asphalt Sampling and Testing
Asphalt and Concrete Core Sampling
Liaising with clients and contractors, building strong relationships
Carrying out Marshall and Superpave tests within our Asphalt Laboratory;
Ensuring laboratory equipment is maintained in good condition;
Interacting with Materials and Geotechnical Engineers routinely;
Operating computerized and digital testing equipment.

**What your experience looks like

Graduate in a related field of study, such as Civil Engineering;
Minimum 2 3 years' experience in Asphalt testing Laboratory;
Possess a current CCIL Certification for HMA Marshall and Superpave an asset;
Possess a current CCIL Certification for Aggregates an asset;
Possess a current CCIL Certification for Concrete Testing an asset;
Field experience in concrete, earthworks and asphalt;
Experience with Marshall and Superpave Mix Designs;
Strong focus on Health and Safety;
Strong communication skills and leadership capabilities;
Ability to work overtime in peak periods;
Excellent organizational skills and time management a must;
Proficiency with the windows operating system, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel;
Able to organize, prioritize, set and adjust priorities and schedules independently:
Posses a valid driver's license and own vehicle;
