What you will do:


Under the general direction of the Director, Digital Solutions, the Associate Director, Infrastructure & Operations, is responsible for, among other things, managing products and technical offerings; overseeing product designers and developers; deploying solutions to bring the organization's academic and business goals to fruition; focusing on clients and alignment of business goals with product architecture; and collaborating with third-party vendors to improve services.

In addition, the role may also, on occasion, act on behalf of the Director in the Director's absence.


Applications, products, and services within the Infrastructure & Operations portfolio include the following: advanced data analytics; campus communications; cloud computing; compute; core data centre; databases; digital certificates; integration; lifecycle management; network & security; network access & connectivity; ransomware protection; smart controls, sockets, & sensors; storage; system software; vulnerability management; and Web & eCommerceamong other things.


What you bring to the role:

Education

  • Knowledge/Experience

Experience

  • The incumbent will have at least 7years of Information Technology experience (cloud computing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data science, data analysis, DevOps, machine learning, product management, software development, and/or systems and networks) with five to nine years of practice in a leadership role.
  • Experience in postsecondary education is a benefit.
