General Description of Position

Description of Job Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude and help to maintain workplace security by controlling office visitors
  • Supports company operations by maintaining office systems and assisting in supervising staff.
  • Accounting responsibilities to include preparing and monitoring payments; preparing monthly aircraft lease invoices; recording/reconciling flight hours; addressing customer invoice and payment inquiries; and sorting and filing of all accounting and aircraft documentation.
  • Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures, controlling correspondence, designing filing systems, reviewing and approving supply requisitions, and monitoring clerical functions.
  • Provides historical reference by defining procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.
  • Maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement.
  • Designs and implements office policies by establishing standards and procedures, measuring results against standards, and making necessary adjustments.
  • Keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends.
  • Maintains office staff by helping with recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Performing adhoc administrative duties
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Other Duties as Assigned

Other duties could include working in areas of the company to provide support during absences or shortage of staff in other areas

Technical knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Prior experience as an office Manager, accounting administrator or in a related field.
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping and general accounting required with preference being given to an individual with formal accounting training
  • Formal accounting education considered an asset
  • Consistent, professional dress and manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Experience with administrative and clerical procedures.
  • Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping with various tasks as required.

Salary:
$15.00-$22.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
