JOB SUMMARY
Do you have strong statistical research skills and experience with database models? Are you interested in learning about the AGLC, specifically Regulatory Services? Do you understand IT change management processes? If so, we have an opportunity for you
The AGLC is looking for a highly skilled individual to become our next Operations and Research Analyst to join our Regulatory Services Division.
Other duties include tracking the progress of and updating the Division's strategic plan; and managing the Division's change requests to ensure that computer systems meet the requirements of the functions, practices, and procedures of the staff and stakeholders.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree of related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in comparable position(s).
- Considered an asset to have educational background in quantitative research, surveys, and data analysis.
Specific skills
- Microsoft Office or comparable: advanced knowledge of Excel, intermediate knowledge of Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of Visio, SharePoint, and dashboard tool(s).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Highlevel understanding of software development.
- High attention to detail.
- Critical thinking, research, and analysis of complex issues.
- Performance measurement, program review/evaluation, analytics.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Facilitation and presentation skills.
- Ability to take on multiple projects and tasks while completing work in a timely fashion.
- Familiarity with the AGLC is an asset.

- As a condition of employment, you will be required to obtain a satisfactory security clearance and clean drivers abstract (if necessary) prior to employment.
