PrecisionERP/IT is recruiting for Intermediate/Senior Cyber Security Consultant for initial 6+month HYBRID (3 days ONSITE) contract with our client in London, Ontario (Canada)


OVERVIEW:

The Cyber Security consultant should have a working knowledge of desktops and servers in Windows, Linux (Kali, RHEL) and MacOS environments.

This resource should be familiar with common security frameworks, standards, and controls from NIST Cyber Security Framework, CIS Benchmark, and ISO Familiarity with the Cyber Security Framework and/or NERC CIP standards would be preferred.

While secure coding and development experience is not required, knowledge of OWASP testing methodology is desirable.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administering security awareness trainingPerforming security reviewsConducting vulnerability and risk assessmentsManaging an ongoing risk registerDrafting proposals for projects (RFPs and RFQs)

Configuring firewall policies, network routes, and security controls in information systemsConducting incident response and network security troubleshooting activities MUST HAVE one or more Cyber Security certifications below:
CISM, CISSPPNSCE, SECURITY+, PENTEST, or equivalentCCNA/NP or equivalentAWS Solution Architect or GCP Professional Cloud Architect/Security Engineer
