Description:

Position Responsibilities:

Facilitate training and onboarding for newly hired associates and act as culture ambassador to support a positive associate experience
Coordinate with business partners, including Supply Chain Leadership Team, Training Specialists, Safety, and Human Relations to ensure associates complete all requirements
Work with the local management teams to create and manage training matrix for the department/location
Take a lead in identifying best training practices, make improvements and share with these changes with the Leadership Team
Provide information about the performance to the supervisors of your team and suggest alternatives that would lead to an improvement in said performance.
Must possess excellent communication skills. Should be able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
Able to lead others in highdemand situations
Support associate engagement and retention initiatives at the facility(ies)
Coordinate individual and group training events as needed
Maintain documentation, including training logs, sign in sheets, and electronic signatures to verify training completion and ensure this information is logged
Travel commensurate with requirements throughout the region you support
Must be knowledgeable and be able to follow GMPs, Food Safety and Health & Safety requirements

Position Requirements:

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND & WORK EXPERIENCE:

Previous experience in a unionized food, dairy, beverage or packaged goods industry is a definite asset
Superior communication skills in a multicultural environment and the ability to deal with a variety of frontline industrial relations issues
Takes initiative, exercises good judgment in daytoday business decisions
Strong leadership skills
Knowledge of good labour/management practices including progressive discipline and positive reinforcement techniques
Knowledge of health and safety standards, regulations and best practices
The flexibility to adapt to a 24hour, 7day operation schedule
