Principle Accountabilities:


  • Auditing established quality control procedures
  • Assist in evaluating products not meeting current procedures
  • Monitor and report hold system
  • Control MRB for product nonconformity
  • Control RGA, Warranty Repair in Infoflo
  • Infoflo transfers and receiving
  • Maintain working knowledge of regulatory agencies
  • Assist in submission of product for agency approval
  • Assist in dealing with customer complaints
  • Select and inspect sample products for customer review, regulatory inspection or display
  • Monitor quality control equipment (gauge control) usage and complete both internal and external calibrations
  • Assist in testing new raw materials
  • Supply quality control data to internal departments
  • Assist with special testing and studies on products
  • Training and testing of QA personnel
  • Creating and maintaining Manufacturing and Assembly Instruction Sheet
  • Maintaining WinSPC system
  • ISO 9000 & 14000 auditing duties (Assist with the internal audit process)
  • Monitoring and scheduling of incoming inspectors work requirements
  • Perform other duties as required and/or assigned

Knowledge & Skill Requirement:


  • Minimum 5 years' experience working in a QA Role
  • 5 + years in a previous manufacturing environment is strongly preferred, plastic experience is an asset
  • CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) certified
  • Must be a member of the ASQ (American Society for Quality)
  • Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Comfortable in a fast paced in environment
  • Must be able to work a 12hour continental day shift 7:00 am 7:15 pm (84 hours biweekly)
  • Week 1 work Monday, Tuesday and Friday (36 hours)
  • Week 2 work Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday (48 hours)

Working Conditions:


  • 50% of time in the manufacturing plant environment and 50% of time in the office
  • Considerable amount of sensory attention is required
  • Sitting/working with computer for extended periods of time
  • Lifting light to moderate up to 35 lbs
