We are looking for a bakery assistant at Halifax's new full scale British grocery store, selling fresh bakery and butchery items, as well as a huge range of imported groceries.

Responsibilities will include:

Making baked goods from scratch. We bake with traditional British recipes and can train anyone willing to learn. We work in a
clean environment and clean as we work throughout the day.


Details:

This position will suit people used to a
fast paced environment, such as line cooks and you we work from
6am, Monday to Friday.

(We can be flexible if you travel via public transport).
You will need to be able to lift 20kg (44lb) *bags of flour, sugar, salt etc.

We make everything in our bakery counters from scratch, including meat pies, tarts, pasties and fresh cream cakes to name a few.

$18.00-$20.00 per hour


Expected hours:
No more than 44 per week
